About the Lawn scheme

A field, representing the Lawn scheme.Lawn is a landlord referral scheme that helps social tenants in England to look for alternative housing opportunities across the country.

Landlords who have available properties can promote them through housingmoves. We pass the information on these properties to councils and housing associations who offer assistance packages to potential movers.

By offering assistance packages councils can free up much needed social housing in high demand areas and by offering empty properties to a wider audience landlords can benefit from additional rental income and tenants who have chosen their new home and surroundings.

More than 2,500 households have moved home through Lawn. If you are looking for larger accommodation or for a home near to relatives or employment then Lawn may be able to help you.
