DCHA is part of the Devon & Cornwall Housing Group; their head office is in Exeter. They work with local communities across Cornwall and Devon and offer housing and support as well as regeneration and new development. Their sheltered and supported housing activities go across Cornwall and Devon, offering housing and support services to those in need, including older people.

DCHA also provide "care & repair" home improvement agency services across the two counties, helping older and disabled owner-occupiers adapt and maintain their homes, often with grant assistance from local councils.

DCHA manages SCH properties in the south west.
