Beccles

Picture of PropertyThe market town of Beccles is located on the River Waveney on The Broads.  It has much to offer including the famous Beccles Quay, once a flourishing seaport and now a popular boating centre.  The market has an excellent reputation for the quality of its shops and services and there is a wide variety of products on offer.

Felixstowe

Picture of PropertyFelixstowe is situated on the North Sea, across the estuary of the Rivers Orwell and Stour, and nearby is the Port of Felixstowe, the largest container port in Britain.  There is a large Sunday market and a newly refurbished library.  The beach is pebbly but there is a promenade running from the nature reserve in the south west to Cobbolds Point.  At low tide it is sometimes possible to observe the remains of a roman fort in the water some 50m from the coastline.

Lowestoft (inc. Oulton Broad)

Oulton Broad is widely considered as one of the most pleasant parts of the Broads and The Broads National Park is located near to the town.

Stowmarket

Picture of PropertyStowmarket is a small but quintessential English market town in Suffolk.  The town lies just off of the main A14 road that links nearby Ipswich and Bury St. Edmunds and is surrounded by some of Suffolk’s most picturesque villages and scenery.  Markets are held in the town twice a week and there are excellent transport links to London and Norwich as the main rail link between the two stops in the town.
