We have properties in the following towns in Kent:
Herne Bay is located on the north coast of Kent, to the north of Canterbury and its seafront features a Victorian bandstand and gardens. There is a golf club and, as with many tourist destinations in Kent, there is a wide array of hostelries in which locals and visitors can eat and drink.
Margate has been a leading tourist resort for more than 250 years! Among its many attractions are a large beach, two theatres, an annual jazz festival and the clock tower. It was also the setting for a special episode of television sitcom ‘Only Fools and Horses’ called “The Jolly Boys Outing”. Margate’s beach is an impressive stretch of golden sand with donkey rides, a bouncy castle and boating pool, making this a very popular place for families. Away from the water, both the Old Town and the market place are thriving whilst the town centre has all the shops, pubs and restaurants you would expect.
Ramsgate is a seaside town on the Isle of Thanet in east Kent. It was one of the Cinque Ports and still has one of the largest marinas on the south coast offering ferry services to France. The town centre features a number of conservation areas and the beach is large and golden and has attracted visitors to the area for more than 100 years.
The seaside town of Westgate on sea in north east Kent borders Margate on the Isle of Thanet and, like its neighbour, Westgate can lay claim to impressive golden beaches. Built between two sandy bays, Westgate has several Victorian canopied shops, a cinema and a library and thrives on the tourist trade in the summer.
