We have properties in the following towns in the Isle of Wight:
Cowes is a popular international sailing centre and home of the famous Cowes Week regatta. The town is home to many quaint narrow streets and reputedly Cowes has more pubs per square mile than any other town in the UK.
Newport is the second largest town on the island and, as the island's county town, is home to its main shopping centre. In addition to an interesting and varied town centre a new retail park has just been built on the outskirts of the town. Newport Quay, situated on the River Medina, is home to art galleries and restaurants. Find out what SCH mover Eileen Filmer thinks of her home in Newport: download her story (PDF 1.87KB)
Another of the largest towns on the Isle of Wight is Ryde. Visitors who travel to the mainland via ferry from Portsmouth dock at the end of the town's half-mile long Victorian-era pier. The esplanade offers fantastic views back across The Solent towards Portsmouth. There are also miles of golden sands and the sloping hill of the town offers a variety of shopping opportunities.
Wootton Bridge is located midway between Ryde and Newport and is well served by bus routes linking the two. The village is situated on the western bank of the picturesque Wootton Creek and is well served by local amenities.
