Wiltshire

The country of Wiltshire is in the south west of England. It is home to Salisbury Plain, the Stonehenge stone circle and Stourhead, one of the most renowned gardens in the National Trust as well as many ancient monuments, including Salisbury Cathedral.

Two thirds of the county is covered by countryside. The Cotswolds begin in the north east of the county and the chalk and limestone found on the Downs are home to the Cherhill White Horse, carved into the hills.
