Sussex (East & West)

Sussex is actually split into two counties, East Sussex and West Sussex but for ease of reference we have combined their entries onto one page. East Sussex includes the whole south coast east of, and including, Brighton & Hove and includes the Districts Councils of Hastings, Rother, Wealden, Eastbourne and Lewes. West Sussex stretches as far west as Chichester and includes the District councils of Worthing, Arun, Adur, Horsham, Crawley and Mid Sussex.

Both East and West Sussex are diverse counties, known for their stately homes and castles, seaside resorts and thriving communities. Over half of West Sussex is protected countryside and East Sussex is surrounded by the famous Sussex Downs.

Properties in Sussex tend to be in high demand but there are pockets of availability for households who would free up smaller properties in London.
