Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire, in south west England, comprises part-Cotswolds, part River Severn valley and the whole of the Forest of Dean. The main towns in the county are Cheltenham, Stroud, Cirencester and Tewkesbury. The county is home to many cathedrals, abbeys and churches and royal residencies: some of these have recently featured in Dr Who and the Harry Potter movies.

There are many town and villages in Gloucestershire that were granted market charters that have been maintained for hundreds of years and the Cotswold Hills continue to attract tourists to the area.
