Devon is the third largest county in England. It is home to the cathedral city of Exeter, the attractive seaside resorts of Torbay and the Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks. The county is mostly rural and is part home to England's only UNESCO World Heritage Site: The Dorset and East Devon Coast, known as The Jurassic Coast for its geology and geographical features.
The rural landscape is dotted with small towns and rolling hills. Many of the principle tourist resorts are on the south coast. On the Exmoor coast Devon boasts the highest cliffs in southern Britain, including The Great Hangman and Little Hangman.
