housingmoves work in partnership with South Cambridgeshire District Council to offer Seaside & Country Homes registrants the opportunity to apply for council housing in the villages that make up the South Cambs District.

Households registered for the Seaside & Country Homes scheme can ask to be registered on South Cambridgeshire's Choice Based Lettings Scheme (external website), and housingmoves staff will then bid for properties on their behalf.

Applicants will be contacted before housingmoves bid in order to ascertain whether the available property will meet their requirements and although we cannot guarantee that all bids will be successful it is an additional opportunity for households keen to move.
