housingmoves - a fresh start in a new home

housingmoves helps social housing tenants living in London to find alternative accommodation through the Seaside & Country Homes scheme (for households where the eldest member is 60 years of age or older) and through Choice Based Mobility options which are more widely available.

The choices available for social tenants who wish to move are not the same as for those in other tenancies. If you have more space than you need, then housingmoves may be able to help you find a more suitable home.

Seaside & Country Homes

Seaside & Country Homes offers people who are aged 60 and over and living in Council or Housing Association housing in Greater London the opportunity to move.

Seaside & Country Homes has one and two-bedroom properties across the country from Lincolnshire in the east all the way around the coast to Devon and Cornwall in the South West. We can also help households to find properties in rural areas inland.

Choice Based Mobility

Choice Based Mobility (CBM) is housingmoves' new scheme that helps households move out of London to properties across England. Landlords notify housingmoves of their available properties and this information is shared with households looking to relocate.
